For therapists who want a thoughtful second mind on difficult cases. We can think together about:

 

• Complex trauma and dissociation

• Men’s issues, shame and intimacy

• Couples dynamics that keep repeating

• Transference, countertransference, and treatments that feel stuck

• Integrating psychodynamic and psychoanalytic thinking with EMDR, IFS and other approaches

Consultation can be ongoing or as needed.

 

 

FOR PRE-LICENSED CLINICIANS

 

Supervision

 

Clinical supervision for associates and pre-licensed clinicians working toward licensure in California, New York or Florida. Supervision focuses on:

 

• Case conceptualization and clinical judgment

• Ethics, risk and documentation

• Working with transference and your own reactions

• Developing your own clinical identity, not just following protocols

Supervision must meet your state board’s requirements. Before we begin, we’ll confirm fit, availability and any required paperwork.

 

 

The aim is to help you think more freely about your cases, and more clearly about yourself in the room.

I’m a licensed psychotherapist and clinical supervisor in California, New York and Florida, and a candidate at Newport Psychoanalytic Institute. My consultation and supervision draw on psychoanalytic and relational thinking, with room for the practical realities of carrying a caseload.
